The
director of the Indian Premier League Sidhartha
Mallya, team Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB), jumped right into the
controversy triggered by his team player Luke Pomersbach on Friday saying the
woman accusing the cricketer of misbehaving with her and thrashing her fiance
was making a pass at him and "wasn't exactly behaving like a future
wife" should.
Mallya came out strongly in
defense of Pomersbach who has not played a single IPL match so far this season.
The 27-year-old Pomersbach's conduct prompted RCB owner Vijay Mallya to suspend
the batsman till the time he is cleared of the charges.
